DIY of the Week: Party Streamers

Since tomorrow is our 12th Birthday, we figured we’d share a fun party DIY! This beautiful and fun garland is easy to make and can be customized with whichever colors you choose. Would you try this DIY from Inspired By Charm for your next party?

Supplies:

Tissue paper
Scissors
Decorative tape
String or twine

Directions:

  • Begin with one piece of tissue paper. (One piece of tissue paper will make four tassels.) Fold it in half lengthwise, then widthwise. Fold again widthwise.
  • Next, cut your fringe starting from the bottom, unfolded side. Cup upwards leaving about a two inch band on top.
  • Cut this piece into 4 even pieces so you have four sections that are the same size.
  • Unfold the pieces and roll the uncut center area lengthwise. Don’t tangle the fringe.
  • Once rolled, twist the center area tightly. Fold in half to create a loop at the top.
  • Secure loop with a piece of tape.
  • Make as many tassels as you want for your garland!
  • Hang up and admire your work!
