Do you remember playing scavenger hunt with your friends? I do. One of my favourite memories was looking for clues all around our neighbourhood. There was a coveted prize at the end, but the entire hunt was loads of fun too.
Fast forward to 2018 and everyone has a mobile phone and wants to earn SB. So why not do a scavenger hunt? Just because we are adults doesn’t mean we can’t have fun anymore. That’s why we’ve launching a new way to earn called Local Missions.
Some of you in Toronto may have already tried our recent Local Mission at CF Toronto Eaton Centre (if you haven’t yet, don’t miss out!) And guess what? We have more good news for members nationwide! We’re excited to announce you can earn easy SB on the go with Local Missions at a gas station near you!
A gas station doesn’t have to be an obligatory stop on a commute or road trip – but it can become a fun pit stop if you’re able to hunt and earn easy SB at the pump! These new local missions are available in every Esso, Shell, or Petro-Canada gas station in Canada! If you have our Answer App with location enabled, you’re all set and will receive a survey about your experience at the gas station. And make sure you have your gas gift card from my Mygiftcardsplus to really save at the pump!

What are Local Missions?
Local missions are surveys based on a place you’ve visited or a purchase you’ve made at a local store.
How do I get invited or find out about a local mission?
2- Enable Location sharing – this feature turns on surveys when you visit a location that has a hidden mission.
3- Turn on notifications so you can get a mission alert. Let’s say you are on your stop over pumping gas and that is one of our local mission spots. Your phone will notify you and link you directly to the App where you can complete your survey and earn SB.
4- Get your Esso, Shell and Petro-Canada gift cards at MyGiftCardsPlus to take full advantage of this offer with even more cash back!
What do I earn?
Payouts vary by mission difficulty. Currently we have missions paying upwards of $5.
Will I get disqualified?
Typically, local mission surveys don’t have restrictions other than your presence in a certain location. Some may require a purchase, so you can rate your experience or the service you got. It could be about the food at a restaurant or the expertise of a salesperson helping you or just how clean and organized the store was. Every local mission has a limited number of invitations, so you can’t waste time.
