SwagButton Announcement FAQs

Hi Swaggernauts,
We noticed there has been a lot of comments surrounding the new SwagButton Announcement especially regarding the extra SwagButton Exclusive Swag Codes that are now available. We would like to take this time to address some of those comments here:

  • SwagButton Exclusive Swag Codes are not taking the place of regular daily Swag Codes. 

On days that we have SwagButton Exclusive Swag Codes we will still have our regular daily Swag Codes that are redeemable through the desktop, SwagButton, or mobile device.

  • Can’t install the SwagButton on your work computer. 

We realize that many people can’t install the SwagButton on their work computer, therefore, we will try to release SwagButton Exclusive Swag Codes Codes during non-work hours to alleviate this issue.

  • Can’t get to your computer within an hour

We realize that you can’t always get to your computer within an hour, therefore we will try our best to make sure these codes are live for at least 2 hours.

  • You exclusively use Swagbucks on your mobile device. 

For those of you who only access Swagbucks through the Swagbucks app, don’t worry, we haven’t forgot you. We are working on something special for our mobile-only members.

  • The SwagButton doesn’t work on your browser. 

The SwagButton is available on Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. Unfortunately, at this time it is not available on Safari, however the vast majority of our members find success with the SwagButton using Firefox and Chrome. We understand that the SwagButton on Internet Explorer does not run as smoothly as it does on other browsers; most extension publishers avoid Internet Explorer because it’s difficult to support for Windows. Most of our users love the extension on Chrome. If you haven’t tried Chrome yet, see some reviews here and consider trying a new browser.

  • Error Messaging 

We know that some members are seeing messages that say “This code is already expired” when entering the code on the Swagbucks site or on their mobile device. That is a glitch and we are working hard to resolve it as soon as possible. Once this is resolved you will see the following message “Oops! This Swag Code can only be redeemed via the SwagButton” when you redeem a SwagButton exclusive code outside of the SwagButton.

We also know that members who don’t have the SwagButton don’t want to be notified via their mobile device that their is an Active SwagCode. Unfortunately at this time, we need to notify everyone via the mobile device however, we will make sure to note whether it’s a SwagButton exclusive code if that’s the case.
