Rewarding Moments: Danielle

Danielle (Swag Name: purplestars23)  is from Brooklyn, NY and has been a Swagbucks member since December 2013. Danielle found us after searching for ways to earn money for school supplies for her classroom. Her favorite way to earn SB is by watching videos on Swagbucks!

Danielle was paying for almost all of the supplies she needed with her own money, which she needed to use for her rent and other expenses. Swagbucks has helped her avoid dipping into paycheck and savings.

I use Swagbucks to help get supplies for my 49 students in a District 75 program in grades K-2 in a high poverty area in Brooklyn. They have autism and related disabilities.  I teach Social studies through arts off a rolling cart and my colleagues including teachers and related services are in high need of materials as well. We have a hands on centers teacher created curriculum and as a result, many of the games/puzzles we use to help them understand our curriculum gets expensive. I started using Swagbucks to help fund a school wide wishlist which allows me to use amazon without dipping too far into my paycheck that has to cover my rent and other expenses. I was tired of skipping meals and not having enough to get by so thanks to Swagbucks my students can have needed supplies!
