DIY Of The Week: Chevron Paper Straw Frames

Mother’s Day is only a few days away and we know that getting the perfect gift can be pricey. If you are looking for alternatives that won’t break the bank but will still warm mom’s heart, a picture would be perfect. We found the cutest DIY picture frame on Tom Kat Studio Blog using chevron paper straws and a few items you may have lying around the house.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Paper Chevron Straws
Scissors
Baker’s Twine (threaded onto a needle)

Directions

  1. Cut a slit across one side of the straw.
  2. Use the needle to create two holes in the straw and thread the twine through.
  3. Measure out enough twine to make a hanger for the frame and tie a knot at the ends to keep the twine in place.
  4. Slide the photo into place.
